Question

My daughter is in fourth grade. Over the past 8 weeks her English
teacher has given her 10 test grades and 14 daily grades. She was
confused by the tests at first and didn't do well so now her grade
is a 76. I met with the teacher to ask why there were so few
daily grades and her teacher could not answer me. How can I
explain to the school that this is not a good grading method?

says:

There shouldn't be any grades at all at grade 4 for subjects. Grades at that age should only be
for standards and daily scores should NEVER be part of grades. 24 scores being used to
determine a grade in only 8 weeks is absurd.
