Question

I have a tranfer student who came to me with an 80% in reading for the first 7 weeks of the quarter. He earned a 53% in reading for the last 2 weeks of the quarter. What is the easiest way to calculate his quarter grade?

says:

I think his grade should be NA (Not Assessed) or I (Insufficient Evidence) because there is
obviously a huge difference between the grade he came with and your evaluation of his
reading achievement. At this point you do not have enough evidence to be confident of a
grade other than NA or I.
