Question

My weight achieved of my quiz grade went down from 9.63/10 to a 9.6/10 after I took a
quiz with a grade of 19/21, which is a 90% (A). Why would a "A" bring the average down?
Does it depend on the way the percentage is measured or the grading system (scale) that my
teacher is using? Thank you.

Please stop focussing on the minutiae of points and % and focus on your learning. A drop of
0.03 is meaningless (although correct mathematically). Furthermore scores for quizzes should
not be part of grades.
