Question

It's clear that your system will result in grades that more accurately reflect student knowledge, but do you have any evidence that grading in this manner will actually increase student achievement?

I provide guidelines for grading not a system. I have anecdotal evidence that grading for
learning improves student achievement and there is lots of solid research evidence that
when teachers follow assessment for learning principles achievement increases. See the
work of John Hattie and the U.K. Assessment Reform Group (look particularly for anything
written or co-written by Dylan Wiliam).
