Question

My son has a 66 average in math and is turning in a worksheet that he made a 65 on
the highest the teacher will let him make on the worksheet is 70 so can 5 more
points on a worksheet bring his average 4 points uo

There are so many things wrong with this it is hard to know where to start. 1. You
shouldn't be concerned about the points your son is getting or not getting; you should be
concerned with what he knows and doesn't know in math. 2. Points for worksheets should
not be part of grades.3. Worksheets should get descriptive feedback - words not points.4.
If points are used there should be no artificial limits or rationing of the points.
