1. How should multiple scores in a single standard be tabulated? (Mean, median, mode,
average of 3 most recent , highest?)
Most often the two or three more recent but it is not an absolute, it is a judgement call.

2. Should there be an overall standard grade for a class or should there just be a grade for
individual standards?
Individual standards K-12 and add a subject grade for grades 11 and 12.

3. Should we have decimals in standard grades? (At this time a student canít get a 4 unless
all assessments were all 4's.
They shouldn't need to get all 4's; your logic rule for a 4 should be something like mostly
4's and nothing below a 3
4. In Powerschool, using standards based grading, how do we report missing work?
You can enter a symbol that shows the assessment has not been submitted.

5. How do we report behavior, work ethic and citizenship?
Pick the behaviors you value, collect evidence and include them on your report card.
6. In terms of athletic eligibility Ė what constitutes ineligibility based upon standards?
Whatever you think is appropriate and fits with your state athletic association's rules.
7. How or can we have an honor roll?
You certainly can but I don't understand why anyone wants to have these abominations. If
you have to them decide what you think are the most appropriate criteria based on the way
you are collecting and reporting evidence of student achievement.

8. Should there be assessments and assignments displayed during the trimester so that
parents can see how their student is progressively doing?

Should we have an honor roll in our school? We are considering dropping it.

Please drop it. I am totally opposed to honour rolls because they promote grade grubbing not learning.
