Question

i am in my college practicum class. I have received 2/10 and 5/10 points on 2
assignments. Each of these were weighted 10%. Prior to this I had a 100 in the class,
having completed 2 assignments. There are a total of 8 assignments. My final is worth
40% of my grade., I have received a 100 on an assignment worth 5% of my grade, and I
have the final exam, And two assignments left that are worth 10% of the total grade.
What do I need to score on my final exam and last 2 assignments for my final score to
be at least 80%? Is that still possible? A 70 is considered a C, what do I need to make
to get that.

I wish that you and others would read and act on this statement on the page where
you posted your question - "The purpose of "Ask the Grade Doctor" is to answer
substantive questions about grading and reporting philosophy, policy, procedures,
and practices. I will not answer questions that are only about the calculation of
grades. Please do not post this type of question." Having said that the incredibly
complex numerical calculation of grades that you describe is horrendous and has
nothing to do with learning or accurately measuring achievement. Please get on e of
your math-capable friends to do the calculation.
