Question

I did not turn in a reference page with my APA sociology paper. The
professor stated that I had to complete the entire assignment, which I
assumed was the 1-9 steps. This assignment is worth 100 and she is
giving 0/100 because I dont have a reference page. I have 113/130 so
far in the class out of 350 possible point with assignments not
assigned. I honestly had like a month to do this, but i'm not a good
writer, so it takes me a very long time to write. Is this fair that
one assignment can fail me because of the small amount of total points
offered in class? IS there any way that I could contest this to the
board and get my paper graded to receive points?

Zeros should never be used so I think it is unreasonable for the professor to give you
a zero for failing to provide a reference page. I think you should have been provided
with that opportunity and your paper should have been evaluated on it's quality. I
believe that you have grounds for appeal but be aware that the failure to provide a
reference page opens you to the possibility of an accusation of plagiarism.
