Question

I'm a freshman this year and this first week I was absent for at least 1 or 2 days of
my class for English. I didn't get any paper work from my teacher and I was
confused on what to do. She graded the grade book and it turned out to be a D. I
asked her if my grade goes up as more work goes on the semester and she said
yes. What I'm really stressed about is should I stay in that class or switch? I have a
advanced class and I don't want to mess everything up. I mean I do want to but if I
change this 1st period class into a basic English class will it change my whole
schedule ?

Don't rush into anything. Find out what your teacher's make up policy is and whether
later assessment evidence weighs more heavily in grading decisions. Also focus on what
is best for your learning now and in the future NOT your grade.
