Question

An 11th grader's IEP was determined to be in violation for the entire high school time period.
He was not given his accommodations for almost every test taken including mid terms and
finals worth 20% of his grade. Is it reasonable to ask for 20% of his grade to be reinstated as a
compensatory award?

says:

What should happen is proper reassessment with the agreed upon accommodations in
place. Just adding 20% doesn't really deal appropriately with the critical issue of the
grade being an accurate representation of his achievement.
