Question

A lesson well-presented by a teacher as evaluated by the subject
area coordinator in a class observation. However, after giving a
test, 50% of the class failed. If you are the teacher concerned,
is the test valid? What adjustments are you going to do? If you
are the administrator, how will you react to the situation?

Take it as a learning situation. Analyst what happened on the test; which standards did
the students 'get' and which did they not get, then reteach and reassess as necessary.
