Question

I have a science teacher that has only put two grades into the
gradebook this trimester (and we're pretty far along) on was a
project where she docked half a point for not completing a
requirement which she never said we had to do, and the other was a
test where I got a C (I'm not much of a test taker). She doesn't
grade any hw, and I have pages of notes that were the homework.
Frankly, I'm really mad at her because I've asked if I could do
anything to get my grade up, extra credit or something, but she
says that she doesn't do extra credit. Is she allowed to only put
tests and projects into the gradebook? (I'm in 8th grade). And
what could I do to get my grade up?

I agree that only tests and summative assessments like projects should go in the garbed
but she should give you an opportunity for a retest or some way to show you now know
and understand be than when you took the test.
