Ken,
When you say "The understanding that the biggest obstacle to
implementing SBG is the performance standards. Have to be levels
of proficiency."
Can you expand on this idea in more deatil?

Changing from points and percentages to the 2 to 7 levels of proficiency necessary is a
large shift from traditional practice so the levels have to be 1. clearly described, 2.
understood by all and 3. used consistently by teachers. If any of these three are missing
or done poorly problems arise that often lead to opposition to all aspects of SBG.
