Question

I am highly intelligent and whenever my teachers give me work to do, I do exactly as
they say. However, they always give me a lower grade because they say I could have
done better given my abilities. Do you think this is justified, or do you think I should
recieve full credit for doing exactly what they say?

says:

No, it absolutely is not justified. Grades should be for demonstrated achievement not for
teachers' perceptions of ability/intelligence. I suggest you find out what your school/district's
grading policy says and if it says grades should be based on achievement or it is silent on this
issue speak with your principal or guidance counsellor.
